One of the biggest inspirations for the game was Limbo, another 2D plat-former that was made entirely in grey scale, as well as Ori and the Blind Forest, another plat-former full of colorful levels and beautiful artwork. 

The story of this game begins with a mining town taking advantage of the rich landscape they live on, by mining the resources for so long the world is begging to loose its light and colour. In order to bring light back to the world our protagonist,  Xavier, must navigate through the forest and mines to find the light crystals which are protected by crystal wolves that inhabit the forest and protect the balance of the area.

It developed in Unrea engine 4 by blueprint and C++ on AI development
